Meet Elizabeth

I am a highly sensitive woman and mother raising a highly sensitive child. Cooking together has become a cherished way for us to connect, a tradition rooted in my upbringing with two chef parents. This early exposure instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of shared meals.

I hold degrees in elementary education and natural food culinary arts. My passion for child development and healing led me to further studies in Kundalini yoga, conscious discipline, and synergistic play therapy.

As a trauma survivor and a highly sensitive mother to a highly sensitive child, I have discovered the profound power of cooking in fostering healing and connection within myself and through families.

My relationship with food has been complex. In my teens, I used restrictive eating to exert control over my environment. In my twenties, I experimented with various diets to address acne and low self-esteem. While nutrition played a role, true healing came from combining healthy eating with self-love and recovery. As a mother, I've rediscovered joy in the kitchen, creating and honoring my child's food preferences. I believe that understanding where our food comes from is essential to learning about our environment and supporting local farming, which helps our bodies thrive. Learning to cook good food is a gateway to fostering deep, nourishing connections with our children.

Throughout my life, I've faced challenges, including parental divorce at 18,  and personal health issues like Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). These experiences, along with bullying and self-criticism, taught me the importance of seeking support and authentic connections.

Mentors like Alana Warlop and Larry Byram provided grounding and guidance, while Abby Lasky offered unwavering support during my transition to single parenthood. My work with Larry Byram and Higher Alignment was pivotal, helping me embrace my nature as a deeply sensitive empath and to find community.

Over the past decade, I've studied the creative energies of children and adults, uncovering my purpose to support families. This journey has deepened my relationship with my son, allowing us to connect and navigate our differences in a healthy way.

My goal is to share my knowledge and wisdom with families, offering creative and delicious ways to prepare easy, healthy meals. Through cooking together, we can discover creativity, connection, and play, leading to more fulfilling and nourishing relationships. My experiences have provided me with loving wisdom and a deep understanding of self-love and compassion, which I am committed to sharing with others.

I believe in the holistic nourishment of the body, mind, and soul. My mission is to guide families in creating simple, healthy meals while fostering creativity, connection, and play in the kitchen, leading to more fulfilling and nourishing relationships. Through my journey, I've gained insights into the complexities of parent-child dynamics and am committed to supporting others in similar circumstances. Let's embark on a path to healing and connection, one meal at a time.

Kids Come First

Hi! I am Elizabeth, a kids' coach. I have an almost five-year-old son named Kolson. I love cooking, especially sweets—apple crisp with dairy-free ice cream—yum!

I look forward to playing and connecting with you!
