I am a trauma survivor and a mother caring for a highly sensitive child. My degree is in behavior science and teaching, but my passion is cooking and play therapy. I am currently training to become a synergistic play therapist provider.
My mother spent time in jail in my twenties, my parents divorced at 18, and I suffered from stomach issues that were eventually diagnosed as Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). I faced bullying, insecurity, parental divorce, and self-criticism and had to learn how to heal from years of internalizing pain, frustration, loneliness, and anger. I felt like I was trying to be someone I wasn’t to feel loved and to be part of the community.
I yearned for trusted adult guidance outside of my family circle and had to navigate heart-wrenching lows and learned the importance of seeking support and friends whom I was in harmony with.
It wasn’t until I met my mentors, Alana Warlop and Larry Bryam. They helped ground me, and I finally began to heal. I received invaluable support from Abby Lasky, who gave me steady support and encouragement. Abby helped me transition to single parenthood, and most importantly, she believed in me.
My work with Larry Byram and Higher Alignment was pivotal in my healing journey. Higher Alignment helped me uncover my nature as a deeply sensitive empath. I found connection and support in the Higher Alignment community and discovered who I am.
For more than ten years, I have studied the creative energies of children and adults. These courses helped me realize my purpose and uncover my desire to support children and their families.
Through this work, I also began to “see” my son and discover his unique gifts. I learned how I parent and where my son and I could connect. I also learned how to work through our differences healthily, which led to a deeper, more loving relationship between us.
My goal is to share my knowledge and experience with families through their challenges, leading to more fulfilling and nourishing relationships. My journey has helped me gain insights into the complexities of parent-child dynamics, inspiring my commitment to support others in similar circumstances. My experiences have bestowed upon me a wealth of loving wisdom, nurturing a deep understanding of self-love and compassion for myself and others.
I graduated from Metro State University in 2010 with a degree in Behavioral Science and obtained a License in Elementary Education focusing on sociology.
In 2014, I earned a certificate from the Nutritional Institute Therapy Natural Food Chef. In 2018, I attained Kundalini Yoga Certification in Raj Yoga.
I worked with at-risk youth in the Youth Advocate Program (YAP).
For more than ten years, I studied at Higher Alignment, where I focused on understanding children, improving relationships, and personal growth.
I am currently training in Synergetic Play Therapy®.
Hi! I am Elizabeth, a kids' coach. I have an almost five-year-old son named Kolson. I love cooking, especially sweets—apple crisp with dairy-free ice cream—yum!
I look forward to playing and connecting with you!
