Connection Through Cooking
For Mamas, Parents & Their Children
You hold so much. You deserve a place where you feel supported—and where your child gets to be deeply seen.
I’m Elizabeth Ferreira, a Parent–Child Connection Coach and Natural Food Chef. I use cooking to help parents and children understand each other, express themselves, and discover more ease and joy together.
My work centers on mothers and their children, and dads and other caregivers are warmly welcome.
Parent–Child Cooking & Connection
We begin with a parent conversation. What feels challenging? Where do you feel connected? What would you love to understand about your child—and yourself?
Then I join you and your child in your kitchen.
We chop, create, make decisions, get frustrated, laugh, and make a mess. In those everyday moments, we get curious:
Who jumps right in? Who needs more time?
What happens when you have different ideas?
How do you ask for help or respond to mistakes?
What helps each of you feel heard?
I guide you through these moments, helping you practice communicating, making room for your differences, and finding your way back to connection.
Afterward, we reflect together and choose simple ways to continue practicing at home.
The meal gives us a way to understand each other.
Let’s Talk About Your Family
One-on-One Cooking & Connection
Some children benefit from time to explore with a supportive adult.
I cook one-on-one with children and teens, creating space for them to express their ideas, discover what they enjoy, and build confidence through trying and learning.
The kitchen offers opportunities to make choices, ask for support, navigate frustration, and experience the satisfaction of creating something in their own way.
I want children to feel understood—and to understand and trust themselves.
We begin with a parent conversation to understand your child’s needs and agree on goals and parent check-ins.
Let’s Talk About Your Child
Understanding How You Connect
Through Higher Alignment and Creative Energies, we explore how you and your child communicate—and what each of you needs to feel seen, understood, and met.
The way you naturally express care may be different from the way your child most easily receives it. Together, we get curious about your words, tone, timing, and approach, noticing what helps connection grow.
Cooking gives us a place to explore this in everyday moments: offering help, making decisions, sharing ideas, and moving through frustration.
As you learn about each other’s energies, you can practice communicating in ways that feel more supportive for both of you.
And Mama, There’s Space for You Too
Motherhood has a way of bringing us face-to-face with ourselves.
You can bring the exhaustion, uncertainty, frustration, tears, laughter, love, and moments when you simply don’t know what to do next.
Our parent conversations make room for your experience alongside your child’s. What do you need to feel supported? What would help you feel more connected to yourself and your child?
You don’t have to be the perfect mama.
Come as you are. Bring your child as they are.
We’ll get curious about both of you—and create space for each of you to feel seen, supported, and loved.
Gather, Learn & Connect
I also offer cooking and connection classes, mama gatherings, and workshops where families can learn, create, nourish themselves, and connect in community.

My work is guided by The Compassionate Connection Method—a heart-centered approach that supports children, teens, and families in building deeper trust with themselves and each other.
Through this method, I act as a translator for the "soul-language" of children. We weave together emotional support, intuitive guidance, and conscious parenting tools with the creative medium of food.
What you are offering, I believe, is so needed. Our children are our legacy. Good work, Elizabeth! Dale Hicks
